I have turned a heel!

Valerie left this note on one of my older posts;

don't even worry about the heel. You'll do one and then *bang!* allofasudden you'll wake up in an alley somewhere with a dry woolly taste in your mouth, a pounding wool hangover, and no recollection of knitting the fifteen socks stuffed in your pants

So silly... and yet so true! I woke up this morning with a pounding yarn-over (lol, I just couldn't resist)

That's right yesterday I turned my first heel! I am giddy with excitement. I would have pictures but I was too excited knitting to actually stop and take a picture. I am not knitting Jaywalker right now, I am now knitting a new sock... startitis hit this weekend... This amazing sock is the Journey Cable sock in the baby size. I am using my Mirasol Yarn Hacho.



It is such beautiful yarn to work with! And I love the sock pattern! And I just love everything! I turned a heel!!!! I am just a little giddy. Socks are now my favorite things to knit!!! :) Wow I think I may be a little yarn-drunk...
