The draw of the giant stick

During my morning boredom and comic reading, I found this cute Red and Rover cartoon.

It reminded me of a recent trip to the park with Maya.

She just had to get the biggest log that Dave could throw in the water. She then proudly dragged it to shore and sat, contentedly chewing it. It was her prize catch. What a silly dog.

But look at how cute she is!

Now, I know that this blog is under the pretence of being a knitting blog and there has been quite a lack of knit blogging going on. I just wanted to say that this is going to change.

For the last couple months I have been in knitting hibernation. I was feeling too crappy to pick up the needles very often, and when I did it was out of duty not need.

In the last couple weeks though that has changed right around. I am now back to my knitting obsessed self. The knitting break is over! I have been knitting baby socks like mad and I can't stop thinking of new projects.

So I promise that an update with pictures will come soon. I just need to get some pictures of the finished cute baby socks. They are too cute!!!

I've felt the same way about knitting. Weird, huh. Can't wait to see all your baby socks.
