That's right, I was able to get a camera to show take some pictures of my knitting. Oh so happy!

I finished Center Square! I ended up changing the needle size to 6 1/2 because 8 was too loose. It ended up being a really nice tight knit. There was just one problem... This hat was the first thing I was making for Dave.
And here is a picture of what it looks like on him...
and the finished hat on Dave... just a little too small?
We may have a small problem... Well anyways I'll have to give this hat to someone with a toddler or a baby boy. I'll make Dave another one, I'll just add 16 stiches... or maybe 24?
I am proud of myself though. This was my first colour work and my first hat. Even though there is a size issue I think it turned out ok. The second one will go a lot faster I think.

Here are some update pictures of my sweater! I am so proud...
This is the back with the funny colour blocking

The first sweater was a success! WOW - It looks fantastic!
That's too bad about the hat. I've had to learn that lesson about gauge so many times....and blocking only does so much.
Obviously the hat is fine. It's Dave's head that's the issue!
Sweater is awesome!
