So, I have been under the weather lately.
Feeling like crap would be a better description. It seems that first trimester hormones have been kicking my butt. Luckily, I am finished the first trimester now, so it should get better soon... that's what they tell me anyways.
So, anyways this morning I was feeling like normal... crappy. I was trying to get through my morning routine when the mail man arrived. He was knocking on the door? He had a package? Well it must be for someone else... No it's for ME!
Look at the cute packaging!
It's from my dad's fiance Liisa!! Yay! She does the best care packages ever!
and I am having some hormone blues...
Look at all these goodies!!
First these great pictures of my family! There is my brothers, my dad and Liisa :)
Then there were a couple books that I will really enjoy reading, if you can notice there are also cute notes on why she chose those books for me :)
Some sweet treats... mmmm. Fuzzy peaches are my fave pick-me-up treat.
There was even a little something for Dave, since he has to deal with me :)
That is a 25$ gift card and a bar of extra creamy milk chocolate Lindt. A side note; the chocolate bar is already half done... I think he may have liked it... lol
Then in this cute bag, with "Big Dreams" taped to it...
Couldn't you just melt!!??
Sigh, even though I still don't feel the greatest, this really does help! This brightened up my day so much! Thank you, thank you, thank you Liisa!!

That's really cool. She sounds like an awesome lady.
I read A Complicated Kindness last year....a really good read.
p.s. Hope you're feeling better soon!
That's so sweet! I especially enjoy the Spock on the package.
I'm sorry you're not feeling yet
:(
Hope you feel better now.
Love the vintage Trek labels.
Aw, care packages are so great... and one with two books? Nice. I read the Miriam Toews two summers ago and loved it. Oddly enough, I just heardthe Shelagh Rogers interview with Elizabeth Hay yesterday (?) on the radio!
I hope you're feeling better soon.
That was so sweet of her! It was nice of her to think of the man in the house as well.
I love teeny tiny baby clothes, hope you start feeling better soon.
