I am done Center Square... again. This time I wanted to make sure that it fit Dave, so it is much bigger than the last one. I compared the size to one of his current hats and went from there. As Dave is not here, I can't know for sure until he gets home, but I think it will work.

I also changed the decrease on the hat. This time I did a swirl decrease. This way the top slopes more and is thicker.
It's hard to take a picture of the back of your head
It's a little big on me so I flip up the cuff

I have a photo of my first attempt at a Fair Isle hat. It looks quite similar to the photo you posted of Dave.
